Tetralophodon is a species of Gomphothere Proboscidea from Miocene Asia. Tetralophodon was an elephant-like animal which existed through the late Miocene and earlyPliocene epoches, 2.5 million years ago. They were however unrelated to Proboscidea AKA ELEPHANTS.
