Squamata is the order of diapsid reptiles that includes lizards (excluding the tuatara), snakes, and amphisbaenians. This order has existed from the Triassic to today. A few members of the order are Pristiguana, Ardeosaurus, Chilingosaurus, Adamisaurus, Chamops, Eupodophis, Dolichosaurus, Pontosaurus, Opetiosaurus, Primaderma, and Sineoamphisbaena.
