Segnosaurus was a therizinosaurid dinosaur that was a herbivore/omnivore. It's name means "Slow Lizard". It could get as long as 23 feet and it was a thick-bodied dinosaur with sharp claws. Little was known about it for a long time, until the discovery of close relative Therizinosaurus. Its fossils found in Asia and it lived during the Late Cretaceous Period.
