Prosimians are the oldest primates.  They first arose in the Paleocene from some group of Eutherians and became the anthropoids, hominoids, hominids, Austalopithecines, and humans.  They are very small, usually about the size of a squirrel, have large eyes, and are active at night.  Today they are the lemurs, lorises, and tarsiers.
