Proboscidipparion is an extinct genus of horse that lived in Eurasia in the Pliocene, 7.1-4 years ago. It likely had a proboscis(hence the name) like modern day tapirs due to the elongated skull of this horse. Fossils have been found throughout Eurasia, from England to China.
