A Precambrian Ediacaran animal founded in Australia in 1969 and named in the 1970s. It may have been a mollusk. It is not in a phylum but it was bilateral.

Description[]

Even though there are several specimens of this mollusk, the only completed ones are K. quadrata & K. persii. Kimberellas usually reach 15 cm long on average. Their shells become soft as they're born, but as they grow bigger and older their shells start becoming durable.

Ecology[]

Kimberellas live in shallow waters.
