Georges Zbyszewski (1909 - 1999) was a paleontologist and geologist of Russian origin. During World War II, he and his family moved to Paris and he studied at the University of Sorbonne for geology. He settled in Portugal. He also contributed to many geological maps and published many works, including Dinosaurs in Portugal. A dinosaur called Zby was named after him.
