Xixiasaurus henanensis is an extinct Troodontid from the Late Cretaceous of China. It lived from 86 to 65 million years ago, and lived until the mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous. It was likely omnivorous. 

Attributes[]

  • More teeth than ZanabazarSaurornithoides and Sinornithoides, but fewer than Mei long and Byronosaurus.
  • Lived from the Late Santonian (86 million years ago) to the Late Maastrichtian (65 million years ago)
    • Survived until the mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous
  • 1.2 meters (3.9 feet) long
  • No serrations on it's teeth
  • Extensive palate
  • Skull similar to Byronosaurus
