JPI Epachthosaurus

Epachthosaurus is a titanosaur from late Cretaceous Argentina during the Cenomanian and Turonian ages. Previously known from incomplete material, but a newly discovered skeleton will show us many more details of this titanosaur. The type and only species of this genus is named E. scuittoi.

Description[]

Epachthosaurus was a quite large titanosaur, with a morphology that resembles other members of its clade with a thick neck and a proportionally short tail. It was 59 feet (18 meters) and weighed 3 tons (6,000 lbs).
