Theropoda

A theropod "beast foot" is a clade within the Dinosauria characterized by hollow bones and feet with at most three digits touching the ground. Most theropods were carnivorous, although some, such as therizinosaurids, were herbivores. Theropods are the only theropod group to have extant representatives, the birds.
