Boreonykus is a genus of coelurosaurian dromaeosaurid dinosaur, that lived during the late Cretaceous in the area of present Canada.

It was around 13 feet long and as tall as a dog. It had had long claws on its hands and feet that it likely used for hunting, and it is a relative of Velociraptor. It likely had feathers to keep it warm in the cold winters of northern Canada. The fossil was found in the Wapiti Formation near the city of Grande Prairie, central-western Alberta. Its closest ancestors were from Mongolia, so it likely crossed the land bridge from northern Asia to North America.
