Australopachycormus

Australopachycormus is an extinct genus of bony fish from the Late Cretaceous of Australia and New Zealand. It lived about 105 million years ago. Like Protosphyraena, it looked similar to a modern day swordfish, but was actually only distantly related. It had a long beak with protruding teeth that enabled it to catch its food. It was discovered in 2007.
