Alxasaurus (Pronounced Al-sha-saurus, meaning Alxa's lizard) was an early Cretaceous Therizinosaur that lived in what is now China. It probably ate bugs or plants and its formidable claws were probably used for self-defence. The full head has not yet been discovered, although scientists have found parts of its lower jaw.
